Gwen is a hand-maiden now, but at some time in her life she will be Queen Guinevere. I think it’s so exciting that I’m one of the few actresses who’s fortunate enough to play Guinevere over a long period of time, and to become synonymous with that character is a great privilege. I think you can see parts of the Queen emerging, like with her nobility, and the fact that she really cares about the people and how they should have a voice. – Angel Coulby (on playing Gwen in Merlin)
